MRC Christmaslunch

We’re excited to invite you to the first Christmas lunch of the year! 

With Tivoli closed, we’ll have Færgekroen all to ourselves for an epic day! 

We’ll meet at Færgekroen (secret entrance by HC Andersen Boulevard), head out for a 7 km social city run, and then return for a festive celebration.

After the run, we’ll enjoy a traditional Danish Christmas lunch, followed by some cold beers!

-  Price: 410 DKK per person (includes the below menu + first post-run beer + glass of WarPigs Gløgg + ticket fee)

Menu:
A festive Christmas lunch according to the best danish traditions made by Færgekroen!

The Cold (served with rye bread, spiced lard, and butter):

• Marinated herring from Christiansø with onions and capers

• Færgekroen’s curried herring with apples and horseradish salad

• Pork terrine with parsley and pickled onions

The Warm (served with brown and white potatoes, and gravy):

• Roast pork with cloves, served juicy and crispy

• Confit duck leg with red cabbage and dried figs

Dessert:

• Airy ris à l’amande with cherry sauce 

Each participant gets the first post-run beer and a glass of WarPiggs gløgg included!
You can also add unlimited Snaps for 150 DKK per person.

Practical info:

• You can store your luggage at Færgekroen during the run.

• Everyone is welcome, even if you haven’t joined an MRC event before—just remember to sign up!

• First beer is included, and there’s a 10% discount on all following beers.

Not running?
If you’re injured or unable to run, you’re still more than welcome to join us for the Christmas lunch.
